Planning Board-McLean Zone 3+4

The proposed plan by McLean and Northland Residential Corporation completely missed the mark. This plan does not meet Belmont needs of affordable housing, senior housing, smart density solutions, and transportation. Not to mention it would require, not simply a modification to the zoning, but a complete revamp of the zoning. Back to the drawing board.

Minuteman, Now what?

Now that where on our way out, How do we get back in? This is a significant issue for Belmont. We left our only choice for technical education for students that desire this route to fulfill their life, despite our Superintendents recommendation against it. We need to move back in as a participating community. Our Children deserve better. Its time to swallow some pride and get back to the table.

Belmont Business Study Committee

Online Business Survey is now closed. 120 total respondents. Is this because all the other business owners where to busy running their businesses or possibly because of the lack of interest in the Belmont community?  Top three issues noted; parking, lack of community events and licensing. Median rent is at $3250.   Belmont has a lot of work to do.  How about we start by walking in each business and getting a face to face with business owners!
